The IRS continues to enhance its computer technology and train new agents which result in many tax returns being audited and many more closely scrutinized by computer processing. The probability of your tax return being selected for audit or being the subject of an IRS notice continues to increase. For these reasons, we provide our clients a level of assurance by giving them the option of purchasing the Audit Representation and Nuisance Letter services. Cost of the services is based on the number of expected tax returns that may be selected by the IRS, spread between participating clients.
